For example:
I once got a smoker for free from my neighbor as he said it didn't get hot and didn't work( I didn't laugh). I thanked him graciously and moved away before laughing, (hopefully out of ear shot) . People throw away lots of things because they don't see things in them. We have lost our ingenuity as people. In the 30's during the depression People made crazy beautiful things because they could not afford the things they needed. My grandfather was one.
He could take a piece of paper and turn it into a paper airplane that looked like a Spitfire and it would fly and glide on the wind outside. He had to make his own toys. I miss him and men like him. Simple and could make you anything.
To keep this tradition alive and these crafts and trades in the minds of our "Throw away generation," is essential. do your part and follow this group on Facebook or on this site. Help show others you care about the world and keeping it livable. Thanks
